Summer Holidays at The Courtyard

If you can believe it, the summer holidays are here again. Whether you’re excited to spend some time with your little ones or you’re already counting down until the next term (we won’t tell anyone) six weeks is a long time to fill.

If you find yourself in Knutsford over the holidays and are looking for a child friendly place for lunch, why not pop us a visit at The Courtyard? We’ve listed below a few reasons why we’re the perfect place for families with children over the summer holidays:

Lots to see

Both inside and outside our restaurant is filled with trinkets and ornaments. Particularly our conservatory which houses the majority of our Penny Farthing museum collection. Why not play a game of eye-spy to keep the little ones entertained whilst you wait for your food to arrive?

“I spy with my little eye something beginning with…”

Fish pond

Relaxing for adults and fascinating for children is our fish pond which can be found outside in our courtyard.

High chairs

For the really little ones, we have a number of high chairs so that they can sit comfortably whilst allowing you to enjoy your meal without worry.

Children’s menu

Alongside our extensive adult menu we also have a special children’s menu. Created especially with under 12s in mind, we serve favourites such as cheese and ham sandwiches, beans on toast and sausage, chips and beans.

See our menu here.

Train

The piece de la resistance for children and adults alike is our mechanical train which travels above your head in the restaurant. It embarks on its travels every four minutes so keep your eyes peeled during your visit.
