Autumn Days Out in Knutsford

Covid-19 Situation

The Courtyard Coffeehouse Knutsford is currently closed under the instruction of the Government for all Restaurants and Bars in order to assist in reducing the spread of the Corona virus. This is devasting news for everyone in the hospitality industry and beyond, but we understand it is a necessity.

We have formulated a survival plan on the basis that this could be a long-term closure and we can confirm, to all our customers, that we will be able to reopen once the government give the instruction that it is safe to do so. At this current time it is difficult to know if this could be 1 month or 6 months and beyond?

In the meantime we hope you stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you again. Lots of love from Rob, Althea and the team X.

Autumn is well and truly on its way; there’s a definite chill in the air yet the sun is still shining.  Below we’re listing a few of the fantastic places to visit in Knutsford over the Autumn months, so pop on a scarf and dive into our list when you’re deciding on your next Autumnal day out:

Knutsford Heritage Centre

Located at the back of King Street is Knutsford Heritage Centre, ran by volunteers which uncovers the history of Knutsford. Home to the Knutsford Millennium Tapestry which is over 13 metres long and was created by 3,000 locals in the year 2000 and a changing exhibition schedule, Knutsford Heritage Centre is definitely worth a visit on any day out in Knutsford.

Tatton Park

The top of the list for any day out in Knutsford is Tatton Park and a Knutsford trip in Autumn is no different. Whether you want to visit for their Halloween events which take place from the 26th– 31stOctober, visit one of their fantastic exhibitions or even just have a walk around their expansive grounds in the crisp weather it is well worth the trip.

Whether you’re a penny farthing enthusiast or you’re not too sure what one is, you’ll leave here with a host of knowledge and facts about these fascinating bicycles. Of course, you’ll also be hungry from all your exploring and fact finding so a bite to eat in our inviting restaurant is a must.
